The customer base station site which Nokia has modernized, used an average 44% less energy than the site not modernized in 2017. Total energy consumption decreased by 3% in 2017 compared to 2016. 20% of its total purchased electricity was from renewable sources. Holmen AB, Sweden is a reputed forest industry group, that manufactures paper board, paper and wood products and runs forestry and renewable energy production operations. It has long operated sustainable forestry, whereby CO is captured in 2 the forest and its products. Future opportunities for renewable wood fiber are being identified to develop the products of today and tomorrow. The growth in Holmen's forests already outstrips the annual harvest of wood and it is expected that forest growth and harvesting could increase by 25% over a 40 year horizon. Holmen's products offer climate benefits in different ways. While new products form part of the solution to climate and resource issues, they also laid the foundation for economic growth and employment. The company publishes Sustainability Report based on GRI which has been reviewed by independent agency. In 2016, it captured CO equivalent emissions amounting to a surplus of 2.15 MT.

Security systems; Cable trunking; Digital infrastructure; UPS etc. The Group's annual CSR progress is measured by monitoring indicators relating to 21 priorities most of which relates to Sustainability. For each issue and priority, the group publishes its annual progress according to the indicators identified. Legrand's CSR strategy consists of four areas: users, society, employees and the environment.
