Dr. BVR Mohan Reddy founded Cyient in 1991, placing India on the global ER&D services map. Cyient, collaborates with clients to design digital enterprises, build intelligent products, and solve sustainability challenges. In 2024, Cyient Group had contributed over $8 billion in cumulative exports to several global clients. For FY24, Cyient Group revenue was around $860 Mn and Group Market cap was around US $2.7 Bn. Dr. Reddy is the Chairman of IIT-Hyderabad and IIT-Roorkee and a member of the Leadership Advisory Board (LAB) at the University of Michigan, USA, and a member of the Court of Governors of Administrative Staff College of India. Dr. Reddy’s philanthropic initiatives include the Cyient Foundation, which supports education for over 20,000 children and digital skills training for 35,000 individuals. He has received the Padma Shri for his contributions to trade and industry and recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (CIE Division). He was conferred Lifetime Achievement Awards from Outlook Business, Hyderabad Management Association (HMA), Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HySEA), the Centre for Organization Development (COD), Dataquest and the International Startup Foundation (ISF) for entrepreneurship & visionary leadership.
